I loved the intro...This was a great blog entry bud. I loved the introductory rant AND the treatment of the movie. Thanks!

I have seen this film a few times now, and have to say that though I had no expectation of enjoying it on any level (for the same reasons you pointed out), I actually find it pretty entertaining. It's not a Dark Knight, of course, but it is a fun movie that is at least a lot better than Green Lantern... ha ha. I LOVE Hemsworth in this role. They are made for each other like Ron Perlman's Hellboy. Also, unlike the wasted money on Oa in Green Lantern, I really dug Asgard in this film. Especially the Rainbow Road that reminded me of Mario Kart!!! Idris Elba was awesome too.

Truth be told, although I am well versed in certain comic characters (DC more than Marvel), I have never known much about Thor prior to going into this film. Since watching this, though, I have become really interested in the character. The Odin, Loki, Asgard, Frost Giant stuff is all a blast. Thor has quickly become one of my favorite Marvel characters.

Although I didn't see this movie until it was released on Blu Ray, as I didn't think it would be very good, you can definitely count on me to be in the theater watching Thor's return both in Avengers this Summer and Thor 2 next year.BM3https://www.blogger.com/profile/02510832523157233296noreply@blogger.com
